Solved Upgrading to new Software for programming

Specs: Windows 7
It took me 1 month to learn my dad's Dbase 3 plus software. So what is the current applications that can create database, update and create and run programs just like Dbase 3 plus? His coin collection is in dbase. I was checking to upgrade to a current software and everything I look at is segarated.

Microsoft Access is probably the modern day equivalent to dBase. There are cheaper, or free alternatives, but Access is probably the easiest to learn.

MS Access. That sounds great. Why didn't I think of that? I use Access at work. I was looking at SQL types. But this will do. Thank you.
