Specs: Windows 7
Is there a way of starting a hidden file once setting the attribute to +h without having to run the command attrib -h?

If you know the filename just typing that at prompt would run the file; this is a well known method used to execute .bat or cmd files you prefer are not manipulated. So there is no need to change its attribute before launching.

What I posted is the answer: when the file is hidden to run you must know its name since Explorer doesn't list it and there is no way to double clicking. Be aware the hidden attribute itself doesn't assure you can't run the file.

Sorry, i wasn't paying much attention.
Now that it does work, i need to run the command cd xxxx.
So since this file is going to be run from a usb how will i be able to restore it in its original directory? Since the location will vary from pc to pc.
