Un and Re-pack .jar with Batch?

April 12, 2012 at 03:20:53
Specs: Windows 7, Intel core 2 duo 1,60 GHz/2 GB RAM
I need to Un-pack and Re-pack .jar-file with batch so if anyone could help out it would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried to find a good explanation on how to un and re-pack a .jar-file using batch but had no luck finding one.
And so if anyone could explain how to use what commands/codes to make this happen or maybe even if you feel like giving me premade codes with instructions to put [source-path] here and [files to jar] here etc. , that would be great

Again help is MUCH appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Have you tried using the java tools as shown in sections :

create jar file
extract jar file

on the following link

Another option is simply using some sort of zip utility.

I have tried but i didn't get it to work, i am however all new to java, an explenation on how to use these java tools would have been much appreciated.

Using another utility could work, but then you would need that spesific utility for my program to work (seems logical to me). So its probably best to use jave as more or less every one have that.

Sorry for the late follow-up i have been busy with school.

No problem. The link seems pretty exhaustive though, pretty sure you can find an answer there.

Have you tried to create using:
jar cf jarfile inputfiles

jar xf jarfile

to extract?
