I have made a program where employees enter their time so a specific job and then the type of work on that job. So they pick their job then go to the row of text boxes next to it and enter in time in the text boxes that apply to submit It they push a button which has the type of work on it.

What is the best way to store the type of work with the job number and number of hours?

I can select by row but the only thing in the rows is the job number an time. I was thinking of storing them in some type of array but I need it to be more like a table does such a thing exist

NOTE: When the employee is done entering job time all the jobs with time associated to them will be added to a database.

the row of text boxes on the form

each row starts out with a combo box on the left then 18 text boxes to the right. The text boxes are for each different type of work on a job

Note: Each row is created dynamically

I have been looking around and i think using a dataTable would work best or possibly hashTable

I'm not sure the exact nature of what you're attempting, but it sounds like you're looking for System.Collections.Generic.List(Of String) or a System.Collections.Generic.List(Of someType), where someTime is some class you've made to represent your record. If you plan on storing up a lot of table data, a dataTable might work. It'd be easier to use with a DataGridView.
