taskkill /f /im "gamebar.exe" should do it:

SUCCESS: The process "GameBar.exe" with PID 7996 has been terminated.

is GameBarPresenceWriter.exe visible in taskmanager?

Thanks for reply. the command line: taskkill /f /im "gamebar.exe" did not work.
However I found out why taskkill /im GameBarPresenceWriter.exe /f did not find the file.
it was actually already killed. I excecuted GameBarPresenceWriter.exe in dos which started the process, then reapply taskkill /im GameBarPresenceWriter.exe /f and it worked. I was able to execute the whole script afterward. Thanks again for your reply.
