Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, 2.793 GHz / 1534 MB
The text file contains 100 lines.
There are 4 text files, So I am dealing with a lot of " to enter...OMG!
Each file is called string.txt, but in different dir's. Moving the bat to each dir is not a problem.

Looking for a command to add "s to the strings.

Today yesterday
Last month this month

Looking for a way to simplify adding quotes making the files read

"Today" " yesterday"
"Last month" " this month"

This is for xppro OS

How is the batch to know which are one word strings and which are multi word strings?

Life is too important to be taken seriously.

Hmm good question. I suppose it would look for the first 8 letters.

If just one word it would only leave 16 to edit by hand
