Script lockdown user desktop

Specs: WinXP, 2GB
i have been googling vbs script for a while but seems can't find a login script so that user cannot save anything on desktop under user's profile. can anyone provide info how I can accomplish the task?

You do it under the Group Policies. Run GPEDIT.MSC or if it is on a domain do it under the Active Directory GPO settings. You could also Alias the desktop to a server folder under the Account Management.

attrib "%userprofile%\desktop" +R

Thanks for your input, I know GPO does powerful restriction on domain user. However, there is none for locking down desktop such as disallow to save on desktop. Any possible to have custom .adm or script do exact the same thing?
