remove strings on each line of file

Specs: Windows XP
How could I remove strings on each line of files inside a folder and it's sub-folders?


remove the sting "*67,,1" on each line

and the file results would be
file1.csv becomes _file1.csv
file2.csv becomes _file2.csv

You're unlikely to get a reply unless you give more information.

These are .csv files so which fields (columns) are to be removed?
Are the headers for those fields (columns) also to be removed?
Double quotes (") have special significance in some programs which handle .csv files, is the string you show *67,,1 actually enclosed in double quotes?
Is it likely that *67,,1 will appear in different fields (columns) i.e. in different positions in any line or lines?

Please post example lines showing all variations of the lines which may be encountered.
