I have a richtext box that has a data like this

172.16.101.1: 00:02:02:3f:0d:ff DSL48 0 6 PG1
172.16.101.1: 00:02:02:3f:27:60 DSL48 0 6 PG1
172.16.101.1: b8:a3:86:4b:fe:eb DSL5 0 4 PG1
172.16.101.1: jesp.co.01.01#
172.16.101.1:
============================================================
172.16.101.2:
172.16.101.2: jesp.co.01.02> 172.16.101.2: jesp.co.01.02#show bridge source 172.16.101.2: Hardware switch MAC Table:
172.16.101.2: Address Port Age(Sec) VLAN Path Group
172.16.101.2:
172.16.101.2: 00:02:86:10:af:32 Host 0 2 PG1
172.16.101.2: 00:02:02:3f:2a:5f Eth 3 0 6 PG1
172.16.101.2: 00:02:02:3f:2a:a1 Eth 3 0 6 PG1
172.16.101.2: 84:c9:b2:68:a4:33 DSL1 0 4 PG1
172.16.101.2: 14:d6:4d:2e:4e:3d DSL2 0 4 PG1
172.16.101.2: 00:1f:e1:c6:af:70 DSL3 0 4 PG1

and what I want to load into a listview is all the line like this

"172.16.101.1: 00:02:02:3f:0d:ff DSL48 0 6 PG1"

each string is to be in a column of its own. I'm not sure how to do this really.

thank you for the help.

using VB.NET 2010

It ain't hard:
lstBox.Items.AddRange(txtBox.Text.Split({vbCr, vbLf}, StringSplitOptions.RemoveEmptyEntries))
