Put JavaScript variable in email subject line

In HTML I'm trying to put a JavaScript variable as the subject of an email when the click the mailto for my site... Here is kinda what I want to do:
Email me to sign up or receive codes to put Pchanges on your site!

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

takes the IP address of the user and outputs it. it might need a few changes.

Ya I know how to do that but how can I put that in the subject of and email?

subject=JAVASCRIPT VARIABLE "IP" HERE" that is what this does it takes the ip and puts it as the subject line
