MS hold the copyright for GW-Basic. You should try to obtain a copy from your university which may hold a licence to use or you could do a Google search.

GWBasic was made for DOS more than 20 years ago. What is actually specified in your course work? There are many substitutes available. Many free.

If you want a copy of gwbasic, and can't find it on the internet, let me know. I'll send it to you. I'm sure it's out there, just hard to find since it's obsolete.

free basic is a pretty nice setup if you decide against gw. :: mike
