Solved Needing .bat Scripting Help!

April 1, 2015 at 09:31:59
Specs: Windows 8
I am attempting to create a script that does the following:

Check to see if a folder named "C:\Backups" exists. If it does not exist, create it. Retrieve the current user's username from the environment variables and check to see if a folder with their username exists in "C:\Backups". If it does not exist, then create a folder with their username in "C:\Backups". Next, copy all files from the user's "My Documents" folder to their personal backup folder. If a file by the same name exists, your script should overwrite the existing file.

Any help you can provide will be appriciated

"If a file by the same name exists, your script should overwrite..."
Homework question?

Let us have the script you have produced so far, tell us where it goes wrong, and maybe someone on here can help,

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
