Need two Write to a text file from bat

Specs: Windows 7
Hi

I need to write the Two arrows (>>) to a text file from a batch file.

currently got this :
Echo >> >> text.txt
Need it to result in text file with >> in first line.

It works with any text like... Echo Helloworld >> text.txt... but i need those >> (arrows)

HELP PLEASE ..

You will need to escape some characters;

echo ^>^> >> file.txt

another way can be

@echo off
findstr ">>" | findstr /v "notMe" >>yourtext.txt
goto :EOF
Echo >>
