Need a batch file to copy file's with todays date

Specs: Windows 7
Need a batch file to copy file's with todays date from folder and it's subfolders to another folder without taking the directory tree with it.
Copy from f:\fsms\mayberry /s to f:\saved with no directory folders under f:\saved

Running the batch from f:\. The script created an empty file called Newfile in the F:\ folder

Yes, Newfile was in the root of f:\ where the batch file was run from.
