Move shared folders and keep permissions

Specs: Windows Server 2003
I need to copy a folder from one drive to another while keeping the share permissions on that folder. I have tried x copy with no success. The folder is copied, but the share permissions are not applied. Any suggestions?

XCOPY /O or XCOPY /X should copy the ACL (security) information. Is this what you're looking for?

I tried those with no success. The security settings need to be the same, but more importantly the share permissions need to be the same. I am moving shared folders from one hard drive to another and need to keep the current shared permissions intact.
