move folder command

Specs: Windows XP
hi
i want move my C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Downloads\ folder move to E:\Downloads\

i use this command but this command only move files folders not move
move "%homepath%\My Documents\Downloads\*.*" "E:\Downloads"

Untested:
move "%homepath%\My Documents\Downloads" "E:\Downloads"
md "%homepath%\My Documents\Downloads"

The Move command does not move folders, only files? At the command prompt enter
Move /? to view.

Well, if move won't work, go with the traditional copy and delete:
(Still untested)
xcopy "%homepath%\My Documents\Downloads" "E:\Downloads" /e /i /h /z && rd /s /q "%homepath%\My Documents\Downloads"
md "%homepath%\My Documents\Downloads"
