Specs: Windows XP
I'm new to batch file just need some simple commands to help me out. Im making a loading batch file. I need to copy several data files off a cd and store them in windows\system32. I then have to move those files into the registry using regsrvr32. How do I do this?

Wil the data files be of same extension or same name? I mean do you have a list of fies to be copied or will you enter the file names manually?

Subhash Chandra.

Doug12345 You say you are new to batch scripting but you seem prepared to amend your registry using a batch script. Good luck..

Whatever you do backup your registry files before attempting to add/delete/change any entry. I recommend Erunt.

Please note I have no association with the suppliers of Erunt, which is free, except as a long-time user.
