Specs: Windows XP
I was thinking about learning Python. Is it still worth doing so, or has it been out classed by something better.

Python still has a strong an active user base, but it's suitability really depends what you intend doing with it. Perhaps you could elaborate on that?

For a good place to learn Python ( and other languages ) go to http://www.codecademy.com/ It's interactive and It's more fun than just reading a text document telling you what to do. at that website it helps you through it all! :)

To be honest at this point phil22, I have no specific purpose for learning it, I haven't done a ton with anything aside from batch, some vbscript and a bit of c++ ten years ago. I had thoughts to pick up another language, or at least to learn a little bit about it. Thanks for the link Oddblob, I will take a look.
