I need two progress bars to activate one thing

May 20, 2012 at 02:11:50
Specs: Windows XP
i am making a program in visual basic where the user uses a track bar to change the speed of a progress bar and i want it to switch forms if both progress bars finish at the same time !
the code i am currently using is
If ProgressBar1.Value = 100 and ProgressBar2.Value = 100 Then Me.Hide
If ProgressBar1.Value = 100 and ProgressBar2.Value = 100 Then Form2.Show

This is at the End of the timer for the progress Bars but as soon as one finishes it waits for the other to finish and then switches form but I want it only to switch if they both finish at the same time!

What are the chances of both progress bars finishing at the same time?

The speed of a progress bar is usually controlled by the execution of code inside a loop.

Having the user change the speed of a progress bar seems a bit pointless to me.

What is it you are trying to achieve, is this some kind og game or something,

yes it is exactly that (a game) the aim is that the two progress bars finish at the samt time and if they do then you can go to the next form

Define: Same time
Difficulty: In single-threaded terms, where only one thing can happen at a time.
