Specs: Windows 7
Hello

If some one, please, can help me...
I have this batch file that asks for a password to open a folder.
I need to know how to use the EditV64.exe so i can mask the words of the password with (*)
and give this file the ability of changing the password...

set/p "pass=>"
if NOT %pass%== password goto FAIL

Thank you very much

EditVar comes with its own documentation. I downloaded the program, opened that documentation, and got your answer within 30 seconds. I suggest you do the same.

Look, I get it. We all want the easy way out.

But I'm assuming you're posting here because you're trying to develop/maintain/expand a skillset, and getting the answer spoonfed to you would be a disservice. Part of this budding skillset is to learn that Notepad can be just as useful as an information source as Chrome. Remember, it took me 30 seconds to find the answer myself. 30 seconds. That's less time than it takes to post a reply.

What do you want man ?
This is a site to people help each other.
Not a place to some hotshot computer programmer came to tell to some one to go read the manual or to google about the question.
If I have some manual or indeed know how to use this command I'm asking about, I didn't went here to ask about it.
Do you understand this ?
If for some reason, you don't want to give an answer to the question, stay quiet and do not write anything.

I think that you do not know the answer to the question I made

I think that Razor2.3 knows exactly what the answer is,
because I too just downloaded the EditVar program and found
the answer in less than 1 minute.

Take the time to read the available help files and you will find the answer
to your question.

Taking your original post as a starting point, and if you have read the help files for
EditV, then you have all the necessary information you need to write the one liner.

Simply use Editv64 to replace the SET

Post what you come up with.
