how to run a script on logon from My Document

March 19, 2011 at 17:24:08
Specs: Windows XP
I have written a script that I want to run whenever any user logs on. I have access to some of their folders, like My Documents, My Pictures, and My Videos. The computer has Deep Freeze on it and resets everything except for those three folders, so I can't put it in the startup folder or anything. What do I add to my script so it will run on logon from My Documents? Is this possible?

Windows checks for executables in a handful of places during logon. "My Documents," "My Pictures," and "My Videos" are not included in that list.

If you administer the box, thaw the box, and put your script in one of the startup locations.
