How to index all files in a folder w/batch

August 25, 2011 at 04:20:43
Specs: Windows 7
More specifically, I want to index the folder the .bat is in, so I could act on the folder with the .bat on it. Is this possible? I want a way for the .batch to delete or move itself after it executes.
Thanks a ton :)

Hi Sammydbull,

What do you mean by index? You mean force the windows search indexer to index the directory, or do you want to create an index in a text file or something? Batch files can delete and move themselves already, so you don't have to do anything special for that to work.
