How to echo a redirect into a redirected txt

May 17, 2011 at 08:14:34
Specs: Windows 7 64 bit
How would I echo a redirect into a text file using a batch file?
ex. echo q vol 000945 >test2.txt >>test.txt

I want the contents of test.txt to be the following:
q vol 000945 >test2.txt

Is this possible?

Escape the first redirection:

echo q vol 000945 ^>test2.txt >>test.txt
