sum of any 2 sides must add up to be greater than the length of the remaining third side or (with sides a>0, b>0 & c>0); a+b>c

What you are describing is an isosceles triangle as opposed to an equilateral triangle or a scalene triangle where no sides are equal. Armed with that information you should be able to work it out although what it has to do with nested If statements I have no idea. Goggle is littered with all the information you ever wanted to know about triangles.
