HOW: FTP File and folder synch and other

October 11, 2016 at 04:46:14
Specs: Windows 10
Somewhat convoluted requirement, I am needing to keep 2 servers (actually same server but 2 environments with separate logins) I need to

Synchronize one folder (how do I configure proper route) from one server with the others which stores all documents (but synchronizing so that only the relevant is transferred from one to the other).

I need to transfer all outputs from the "out bound" folder on one server (deleting files after successful transfer) to one "Inbound" folder on the other server to the destination.

And vice versa.

And I do not that I am aware of have the ability to do so direct from server so much use local user machine as a middle ground.

I need to automate it to be able to run at regular intervals (10mins/30mins).

And I need to be able to ensure documents are transferred properly, with no dataloss and files are only deleted subsequent to success (So that any remaining will be reprocessed when next scheduled to run until successful).

New to any of this, although reasonably ok with batch files... SFTP which is I believe what is in place.

I was thinking batch files along the lines here.
and scheduled tasks run on a machine?
But I am not sure I am getting syntax or variable input correct format or exactly what is expecting of me. =(

how about dropbox, enable LAN sync

though this updates atomatically everytime a new file is created or deleted, not like you said every 10/30min
