How do you create an installable app/suite wi

Specs: Windows XP, 2Ghz/ 250Mb
VB6 creating installable apps??
The app runs in VB6
The app runs from the exe created in VB6 (with DLL's found to help it) but asks for a file called MassImport[I].msi which if cancelled and the next dialog cancelled runs OK.

But this is hardly good practice and it needs to run without manual intervention when the PC is booted-up. Like at 4am after a power outage.

Very simple prog 50K as an .exe

I did make an installable pack 6 years ago but have forgotten how to and can't seem to find the help pages that are relevant (boy have I tried). It will be simple and obvious, but not yet!

VB6 comes with its own Package and Deployment Wizard. It is basic but it does the job. It collects all the needed run-time files and gives you the opportunity to add any that it might have missed. Dead simple really.

Yea Thanx
I found it once I had the clue. I wouldn't expect the word Deployment for the task but there you go. Having done it and forgotten - I also had to find how to include an icon in the exe file all over again. And then only by accident because I wanted to up the version number!

Compile > options as it happens.

Help files? Hmmmmmm. maybe.............
