Specs: Windows XP
I need to know how to save information to a .ini file. The information was created from a MS-DOS Batch file. As I said, the info needs to be transferred from a .ini file. I already have the coding to retrieve it. If it helps awnser my question then here is a sample of the script to load from:

@echo off
cls
setlocal disabledelayedexpanstion
for /f "tokens=*" %%A. IN ('type "loadfrom.ini" ') DO SET %% A

Thanks for the help!

Do you want to append an existing ini file or create a new one?

✔ Best Answer
use
echo text > file.ini
to overwrite all text in a file (or create a new one)
or
echo text >> file.ini
to append text to a file.

Don't worry if plan A fails, there are 25 more letters in the alphabet ;)
