Certainly worth to try - and it’s free too

This gives a list of available printers:
@echo off & setlocal
:: display a list of printers
wmic printer list brief > temp
for /f "tokens=* delims=" %%a in ('type temp') do call :xx "%%a"
goto :eof

:xx
set z=%1
set z=%z:~47,-1%
echo %z%
::---------- end batch
for simple text, you can usually just use "copy" to \\systemname\sharename
f\e: copy xx.txt \\main-pc\epson
where 'main-pc' is the systemname, or computer-name that hosts the printer, and sharename is the established handle for that particular printer on the host. Of course, in the output of batch above, you need to check the printerState and printerStatus, and offhand I'm not sure what values you want!
