Specs: windows 10
I clicked on your nme elsewhere and it led me here.

I would like to create a batch file that does the following:

Rename a file using the content of the clipboard as the new name for the file:

Old file name: olddocument123.pdf
Clipboard content: smith,charles

Batch file execution does this:

rename olddocument123.pdf to smith,charles.pdf

thank you.

Hello,

I'm not sure if that's even possible in batch.

Why do you need to do it?

Get back with a response soon. Thank you.
