Firewall Status Alarm in Batch

Specs: Windows XP 32-bit, Intel Pentium 4/504MB
So I'm making this security monitoring program in Windows XP, I want it to beep and tell me if a hacker disabled my firewall or got past it. Basically detect a hacker. This would kind of be a sketch:

@echo off
Set a=FIREWALL-STATUS
if %a%=="disabled"
BEEP
Echo Firewall Disabled. Re-enable?
set /p C=y/n
If %C% == "y"
ENABLE
else exit
End
if %a%=="enabled"
Exit
End

I don't know what the question is but here are some tips

IF structure
=================
if condition (
do this
do that
) else (
do something
or other
)
====================
the is no END in XP bat
===================
for homework: why is this unlikey to ever resolve TRUE

set /p C=y/n
If %C% == "y"

=====================
