Solved Exponents and Order of Operations in Batch?

Specs: Windows XP

Is there a way to program exponents in Batch? If not directly, is there a roundabout way of doing it?
Also, can you use brackets so that it does the calculations within first?

There is no exponent in SET /A math while you can use brackets as in usual algebraic expressions. Type SET /? to get a full help about SET /A math (and more). Be aware anyway batch math handles just integers; to perform computations with real numbers you need to code your own routines as programmers did at the dawn of digital computers (I mean ENIAC & co).

PS: I love Greece where I spent the sweetest months of my life, when young with my girlfriend (now my wife) in summertime.
