How do I install Office 2010 (home & student) unattended via a batch script that first asks the user for their product key i.e. Set /p officekey=Enter key without "-":
I want to use the config.xml (same directory as the setup.exe) with the %officekey% variable in there so when i run my batch script, iit asks for the code and I walk away... I can't get it working though...
It could be done with batch. But you will need to find location of the regedit key, and enter the code into regedit.
Google: Microsoft Office 2010 office key regedit
I dont have time atm (sorry) , so if you research abit, ill look for the script.

I'm afraid i'm not wanting to do anything with the reg key, the batch i'm running will be asking for the code before the software even begins installing, and then use the variable inside a config.xml file which makes the install unattended.
