Display Images in a directory

Specs: Windows 7
I am trying to make this batch file that will look into a current directory. and it display all the images in a menu for the user to pick and that will become the background for the user.

That would be quite hard to be done in batch ... if the "pick" means to "click", you'd be better off with a programming language supporting GUI.

From batch, options are limited ... displaying images is already out of scope of batch programming. You can create an HTML file from batch, and even open that HTML file (in any preferred browser) but then you still have not selected anything.

Why are you reinventing the wheel, and not just using the built-in Wallpaper selection dialog?
