CTTY NUL not working

the following batch file is producing "File Not Found" in my output. how to suppress errors?

@echo off
CTTY NUL
del temps.txt
for /r /d %%d in (*) do dir "%%d\temp"
CTTY CON

There was a similar question to this a few days ago.

CTTY is a DOS programme. AS DOS died out with Windows 98 it is never going to work. There is no DOS in Windows XP or Windows Vista.

Hi Stuart,

I sure can't find it.

Another prob: I blocked toms.jbrlsr.com in HOSTS but it just sits there waiting for. Any ideas?
