HAI@@@@@@@ thanks for allowing me to discuss.... This is a simple csv file output of multiple PCs which is exported to mysql database with autonumbers!!!!!!

Node DeviceName InstanceID DeviceClass DateStamp
PC1 Maxtor 044303E5&0 345e04t 19 sep 2010
PC2 KINGSTON 124353269 44532 21 SEP 2010
PC3 JETFLASH 12432156 EFS 21523521542

to make it compatible database wth database, i want to insert a blank first column in the CSV file with heading USB_ID......
FOR EXAMPLE:-

USB_ID Node DeviceNam InstanceID DeviceClass DateStamp
PC1 Maxtor 03E5&0 3 45e04t 19 sep 2010
PC2 KINGSTON 353269 3454555 21 SEP 2010
PC3 JETFLASH 32156 EFS 16SEP 2010

ANY SUGGESTION HOW IT IS POSSIBLE THROUGH BATCH FILE?
THANKS IN ADVANCE

"ANY SUGGESTION"

Turn off the CAPS.

Lose the meaningless strings, like ////////////.
