I want to create a text file in VB like a form whose fields are to filled like filling a form and the required data for filling the new text file is in another text file .How can I do this in VB.Eg:COMP_METHOD XXXXX "YYYY" The XXXXX needs to be filled with parameter name from a text file and YYYY with a comment from the same text files which will be given in a chronological order in the other file.
Then do it. Which functions / objects you use will be dependent on which version of VB you intend to use. VBScript will make use of TextStream objects. VB.NET programs will use System.IO.StreamReader / System.IO.StreamWriter objects. MS now suggests VBA scripts use TextStreams, but the language has its own Line Input and Print functions.
