Hello,
I'm new with batch scripting, although I know bit from VB script. Therefore I think my question is problably nog very difficult and hope someone can help me out.

I have got a .txt file that I want to import therefore the txt file needs to be separated.

The Original txt file displays the values in 1 row. The values are sepated by ;
When I open the file in Excel it automatically separates the values in 11 columns and multiple rows,
For my import I need te values to be in multiple rows.

I do not want to open the original file in excel. Save it etc. I want this action scripted if possible.

Can you help me? :)

I uploaded two files before & after: https://we.tl/bzQ8CcNPQf

The most important is the conversion from before (1 row) to after (multiple rows), the way separated (tab of ;) doesn't really matter.

took me about 30 seconds in notepad; CTRL+H replace ; with TAB (copy and paste in)
CTRL+H replace ; Z- with (ENTER)Z- however this is not possible in the notepad, so i had to do it by hand.

I suggest notepad++ or something similar to do a large amount quickly, because you can paste (ENTER).

If want to convert large sums of files, you can use notepad++ in collaboration with a vbscript to automate everything.

Im willing to help you with your problem and make you the .vbs file as long as you respond to my post
