I am running a vbscript and a batch file ad not able to exit the cmd window after executing the script and the batch file.
The window should close when CMD exits, and it defaults to exiting at the end of a script. How are you running the batch file?
Initially there is a vb script that runs and there is another batch file that runs after it. I map network drive then fetch users login script. I run this through vb script.
Oh, we're going to play that game, eh? Alright, how is the VBScript running the batch file?
You might want to post the script(s) you're using (both batch and vbscript and whatever else might be involved), that will help cut to the chase.
I am having one .bat file which calls wscript url.vbs. After running the .vbs file, there opens one cmd window and after execution it does not close again.
I didn't ask how you were running the script that ran the batch. I asked you how your script is running the batch.
