Pick a random number of "steps" and save it in a "timer." Then, somewhere in your code, check the value of your "timer." If it's zero, your "timer" has triggered. If not, decrease the "timer" value by 1, and continue on.

Can't be done first party. It can be done with VBScript (though Internet Explorer) and PowerShell, but not though Batch.

Your options:
• Use step based timer, where a certain command happens after "X" amount of choices.
• Use a better language, and by "better" I mean "any other."
