Hey guys
Im trying to write a script for a few procedures i need to get running, such as running / stopping services, checking connections.
And ive got most of it done except not sure on how to do one bit for now.
I have one line that Opens a log file
START "TPS Log" "D:\Program Files\TablePay\tps.log"

Now i need to get a command that will search that file for all instances of the word "Error" and send the complete sentance its in to another log file. Is that possible?

Help would be appreciated. I could post the full script if anyone needs any details

Well the log changes all the time with live updates. But im trying to search that one log file when ever the script is used to isolate any sentence with the word error and redirect it into another file called error.log and open it.

Ill look for a sample of the log with errors for now
