Batch Script to read a folder name in a variable

Specs: Windows Server 2003
Hi,

I want to read a folder name only (Not the files inside) to a variable in the path.

For Eg: \\XXX\public\Rowan\Suhail\%Folder%

Please help

If there only one folder in the directory, and you are trying to find the name of %folder%> You might be able to use a for statement and a dir /ah /b to get the name?

otherwise if you want to define %folder% you can just use set? It seems like it would be more involved than it looks?

edit: It looks as though you are using vbs to do a few other things/ this is an older post, didn't mean to waste your time
