I'm trying to use a batch file to read a .cfg file that uses non-printing characters (Borland Database Engine's idapi32.cfg). Does anyone know how to do this? I've been successful reading directories out of normal cfg's using FOR /F loops, is there a way to set a non-printing character as a delimiter? I need a solution for both XP and Vista/7 if possible.
AFAIK it is not possible in a For loop.
