Batch File to run when a file gets modified

September 8, 2010 at 01:54:29
Specs: Windows XP
I need a batch file which will run as and when a file gets modified.

The main goal is to copy the file. But it should run automatically when the file gets modified. Any kind of help will be helpful for me.

Untested:
SetLocal EnableDelayedExpansion
set content=
for /F "delims=" %%i in (file2bchecked.EXT) do set content=!content! %%i

:chk
if not %content% equ <something to be equal to> echo Modified!
goto chk
EndLocal
