Are these pages each in separate files, or one file with page-breaks (char 12)?
Is it just the last 12 pages, period, or the last 12 pages that had mods to them?
Can the mods be determined by the file's time-stamp, or are the determined by comparison of file (or files) to a "previous" or backup or benchmark file(s)?
find /n "^L" can give page numbers for paginated text, then use more to pull them out, in one (probably incorrect) scenario.
