Batch file ...how to continue?

Sorry I didn't know where to post this.

Here's the deal. I'm creating a bat file to load some programs and it was going ok. First line of the script I want it to open a TEXT file that has information on how to load the next program on the list so they can just copy and paste the data into the fields they need. Problem is....script won't continue while the TEXT file is still open. How do I get it to continue without closing that TEXT file?

Thanks

Jason

That did work!

I just did

Start notepad "texfile.txt"

and it opened the file and then continued on to the next line. Thanks!
