batch command Move

Specs: Windows XP
hi sorry if this is already somewhere on the
forums but i could not seem to find a solution.

i have a batch file that is run multiple times a
day and basically what it will do is move
anything with a .snp extention to a folder
called current month, then i need to select the
files in current month and move them to a
folder named the current month. what im after
is a batch file script that will look at the
computers date and move the file into the
folder of that month / year

so say the folder is called "2009 June" if it was
june then move it to that, and if the folder is
not there create it.

hope i made enough sense.

thanks in advance

move "E:\EDIJAP\*.snp" "P:\SCM
Invoices\Current Month\"

I can show how to do this but I will use simpler folder structure.

If you are willing to tailor it to your structure, we should be good to go.

If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.
