Specs: Windows XP
Hi All,

How to write a batch file which gets automatically triggered at a specified time in it. I don't want to use a windows task scheduler as it asks for username and password while scheduling the tasks and if the task is scheduled by one user and if his pc is not on then the task scheduler will not work. I have a batch file which is saved on network drive which helps us to download the files from different urls. now I want to add some line of code to the same batch file beginning which will trigger it automatically every day in the morning 9am. Please help..

Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

The only way would be to keep the batch file running in a continuous loop until the date is hit.

However, it is never really a good idea to leave a batch file running for that long. If you leave your computer on, you can maybe have it restart itself every little while. But again, it's really not a good idea. Third party software might do the trick.

Can I put a question here?
