Specs: Windows XP
New to this board, I have seen good responses & help on any subjects.. I'm hoping for some "sounding board" advice.. trying to find the best way to accomplish a new batch routine..
I'm building a reference file.. in it a list of folders to enumerate by Day of the Week [it can be a file by each day i.e. Mon.txt Tue.txt or a Single file.]
Under/in each day file will be the folder locations it is to look to.. then starting at file 01 Blah Blah.etx
write/ update the/ a "todayfile.txt".. I'm 'seeing' that I may have to have an ancillary file to track the last file displayed? I've tried several means but I can't get the bat to just look at the first 2 digits of the file in the folder then change to the next sub folder when done
---------------@----------.com if ya can offer or need a expanded explaination
