Specs: Windows10
 Hi guys,Its been a while but I'm not sure if this is possibleA30=SUM(A5:A30). That's the easy bit, There might be only three values across the range, lets say totalling 20. I would then like A30 to remain as that valueA31=SUM(A5:A30). There would bean additional value across the range which may then total 23.  Not sure of what it is your trying to do,but your formula A30 = SUM(A5:A30) is going to generate a Circular Reference error.MIKEhttp://www.skeptic.com/

 Hi Mike, thanks for responding backNot the right thing to be doing when over tiredA30 = SUM(A5:A30) should have read A30 = SUM(A5:A25)However I have actually gone about this a different way and have the solution I requireThanks for trying to assist, much appreciatedTony
