Hi guys,
Its been a while but I'm not sure if this is possible
A30=SUM(A5:A30). That's the easy bit, There might be only three values across the range, lets say totalling 20. I would then like A30 to remain as that value
A31=SUM(A5:A30). There would bean additional value across the range which may then total 23. I would then like A31 to remain as this value

Is this possible, help is much appreciated

Tony

Not sure of what it is your trying to do,
but your formula A30 = SUM(A5:A30) is going to generate a Circular Reference error.

Hi Mike, thanks for responding back
Not the right thing to be doing when over tired
A30 = SUM(A5:A30) should have read A30 = SUM(A5:A25)
However I have actually gone about this a different way and have the solution I require
Thanks for trying to assist, much appreciated
