Hi guys,

Its been a while but I'm not sure if this is possible

A30=SUM(A5:A30). That's the easy bit, There might be only three values across the range, lets say totalling 20. I would then like A30 to remain as that value

A31=SUM(A5:A30). There would bean additional value across the range which may then total 23. I would then like A31 to remain as this valueIs this possible, help is much appreciated

Tony

Not sure of what it is your trying to do,

but your formula A30 = SUM(A5:A30) is going to generate a Circular Reference error.MIKE

Hi Mike, thanks for responding back

Not the right thing to be doing when over tired

A30 = SUM(A5:A30) should have read A30 = SUM(A5:A25)

However I have actually gone about this a different way and have the solution I require

Thanks for trying to assist, much appreciatedTony
