Windows ce upgrade to windows mobile

Specs: Windows 7
I HAVE A LIMITED NETBOOK WITH THE FOLLOWING SPECS, CAN I REPLACE THE WIN CE OPERATING SYSTME WITH WINDOWS MOBILE AND HOW DO I DO THIS

Technically, no, you can't. Windows Mobile is designed to run on newer devices first called "pocket PCs", then called "Windows Mobile Classic" devices. (Last year, the Mobile moniker was dropped in favor of Windows Phone, which now powers Windows-based smartphones.)

CE is flashed to ROM--it is not installed in the same fashion as XP or 7 would be. Therefore, while you *could* hack your computer to do this, it cannot be easily done or done at all, as your computer's hardware and software are designed to match each other. By your description of your "subnotebook" or early netbook, it can't run Windows Mobile. (Also note that WM is based on CE. :D)

You might, (not saying that you can), be able to put a mobile/light version of Linux on it.

CPU: ARM (VIA 8505)

These CPU's do not have the same architecture as x86 and x86-64 CPU's used in minstrem PC. Therefore you bought a toy Netbook:
